Great location

Location, location, location! Perfect location for a quick one night stay in Amsterdam. Directly across from Central Train Station, close to Canal Tour boats and many restaurants and sights to see within walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff!

Friendly and professional staff. 2 free bottles of water. Comfortable bed. Good location. Connected to a very good restaurant. AC and heating was perfect.

Rather bizarre to have all the main light switches directly behind your head/pillows. One move of the head and that's it - lights turned on. (See my picture) Happened at least 4 times during the night for me (I turn a lot!). I was in a fairly noisy room overlooking the city. Expensive!!

Location was just great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable, so easy to get to from the station straight off the Eurostar etc Great views too. Next time I will pay more for higher floor though.

Rooms vary so much. Ours was a little cosy with very little wardrobe / drawer space (112) but no real complaints as we just lived out of our suitcases. My sisters twin was too snug with a long walkway to get the bed, very little space and the wardrobe behind bed accessed by walking like a crab (111). Avoid that one. Bottles of water only given night 1 which seemed unfair.

Quick check-in and access to the room, room was comfortable and good size. The breakfast was nice and affordable, having a restaurant attached to the hotel was convenient as well as we didn't have much time to look for a place for dinner.

The shower temperature was difficult to regulate and was either too hot or too cold, we informed the staff when we checked out. No bar or lounge inside the hotel to chill in the evening.

Location is close to the train station: 5 min walking. Clean . Breakfast is in a bag due to Covid-19 a lot of food, delicious, good coffee.

Bed too small for 2 persons 140cm, small room.

Great for the location, friendly staff, very clean facilities. Small but efficient and, again, very clean — like everyone says. As a local, I can tell you most hotels near Centraal Station are either very expensive of pretty gross and this was neither, so kudos for that. If you have to stay near the station and you don't need a lot of space, this is a good choice.

First, be aware that this hotel, the Ibis Styles Centraal Station, is not the Ibis Hotel actually located at Centraal Station, which is called the Ibis Hotel Amsterdam Centre. No, this hotel is located across the street in the city centre. I am sure I am not the only person to make this completely rational mistake. Second, while the rooms are designed to be efficient if small, there are some strange design decisions that had a negative if non-fatal impact on our stay. The light switches are on the headboard, right behind the pillows, so we kept turning lights on by mistake, including lights that shone right into our eyes, which is not what you want in the middle of the night. The small walk-in rain shower is amazing! But there's no drain line to keep the water in, so even with the bath mat, that awesome shower before bed meant a cold wet floor every time we got up to use the toilet. My bathroom had a huge green ELHO table (or stool? or something?) that seemed like an odd addition for such a tiny space. I don't know for what it was meant to be used, but I would have traded it for a bathroom trash can.

Personnel were very friendly. The room was clean to expectations. Breakfast was nice.

Some of the fixtures were loose. Bad contact on light switch of our room.

Small, compact, but everything you need for a short stay, shower facilities are good aswell. Breakfast is a good selection would definitely come back again soon

perfect location

Ideal location, just a hop from the station, ferries, city centre. Reception staff efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, good range of items for breakfast.

Unfortunately the rail in the cupboard fell down immediately after hanging an item of clothing on it due to loose connection of some sort. There were various staff in the breakfast room, they could had been a bit more proactive in directing us to buffet items.

Location is very good. Breakfast is fine. reception staff is fine and efficient.

Room was cold. The AC did not heat the room. There was only 1 plug in the room.

Very good breakfast, and an excellent location. Hotel staff very friendly, spoken good English. Hotel clean and comfortable.

Just wish it was large enough for a lounge and bar area for residents.
